Hello, dear donors!

We are the parents of an only, wonderful and radiant child for our family who has been battling the serious diagnosis of embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma with an outbreak originating in the bladder since March 2024.

Karan is one and a half years old. When we first heard the news about him, our world turned upside down in minutes. Everything stops... Your breath stops for a moment... You forget about everything... We had no time and acted to make everything the best it could be for him. Karan is a child who has never stopped playing, being empathetic, smiling and wild. He now wants to be like other kids his age again, but unfortunately he spends his sunny days in hospitals. The tumor he had was about 12 cm big, it was shaved off luckily for us. As time went on we got the chemo we needed which went well until it was time for radiotherapy, after which the fight for Karan became even harder. He now has ascites in his abdominal cavity, which ascites here in Bulgaria cannot fight. He has been struggling for nearly 3 weeks, which have been hellish for him. On intravenous feedings, mouthfuls of water and nothing more. Doctors here suspect the fluid is full of tumor cells. We have been and are going through some very rough days with him. We pray that our child survives. He went through a very difficult surgery, with countless difficulties and was still on his feet, he was vibrant, radiant during his time in the hospital, despite everything he was smiling.

We believe strongly that with your helping hand and support he will make it again! Dear people, we ask you with all our hearts to lend a hand for our child, and as his mother, I will always be a support to mothers who are just coming through all this hard road that no child deserves.
