Hello, my name is Ebtsam Bahgat I am dreaming of more sustainable future. And I think that I can make this happen with your help.
The world today is striving for a greener, more sustainable future. Millions of tons of rice husks are burned every year in Egypt and across the globe, releasing smoke that pollutes the air and harms people’s health. Every day I see this happening and feel the urgent need to do something different.
I am Ebtsam, and I dream of turning rice husks into eco-friendly tableware—plates, cups, and utensils made entirely from natural materials. This project will not only reduce waste but also serve the children and women in my village, providing training and employment, empowering them to earn a dignified income that changes their lives and the lives of their families.
Why this project matters:
Burning rice husks pollutes the air and harms respiratory health.
Single-use harmful plastics pose severe health and environmental risks.
Women in rural areas often lack opportunities for sustainable work and skill development.
How our project will make a difference:
1. Transform rice husks into fully biodegradable, eco-friendly, and safe tableware.
2. Train local women and provide stable, sustainable employment.
3. Reduce reliance on harmful plastics, protecting people’s health and the environment.
4. Create a model that can be replicated in other villages, spreading hope and empowerment across the region.
Every plate, cup, and spoon is more than just a product—it is a symbol of hope, empowerment, and the green future we all deserve.
Our goal is to raise 50,000 euros to launch the first phase of the project. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to turning rice husks into a better life and a cleaner planet.
💚 Join us, donate, and be part of this journey toward sustaina
bility and empowerment!
