На 31 август 2024 година ще се проведе Възстановка на събитията от далечната 1877-78 години в с. Баевци / на 8 км. От гр. Габрово /.
Тогава посред бял ден неочаквано нахлуват в лагера на 5-та дружина край с. Зелено дърво 400 черкези. При това нападение черкезите успяват да запалят палатката със офицерското имущество и няколко къщи. Пушките на 5-а дружна били събрани на пирамиди. Аванпостовете както от едната, така и от другата страна били вдигнати. Дали черкезите са знаели това състояние на нещата, или ,както се казва, просто им е провървяло, но нападението е било извършено сполучливо : като препуснали през Зелено Дрво, те напълно неочаквано и стремително ударили 5-а и 10-та дружина....
Аз ,Христо Митев и Борислав Драгиев правим организацията и възстановката на това уникално събитие с цел да почетем геройството на Българите дали живота си за нашата свобода, Българите умрели от бой и мъки !

Then in broad daylight unexpectedly invaded the camp of the 5th troop near the village. Green Tree 400 Circassians. I, Hristo Mitev and Borislav Dragiev are doing the organization and reenactment of this unique event in order to honor the heroism of the Bulgarians who gave their lives for our freedom, the Bulgarians who died from fighting and suffering !
