Today I write from the hospital where I had to stay 4 nights and hopefully no more.

Lately I keep waiting for news of follow up treatment and they are always penultimate. I do not want to write only "the treatment continues", but the truth is that we react to the moment, according to the results. At the beginning of August, the control five slaner showed very good results, after only 4 infusions of chemo and immunotherapy. In September, after a discussion at a consilium, it was suggested to me that we do the Tacke procedure - direct injection of chemo into the liver. I am now in the hospital in pain, debilitated but hopeful that the outcome will be good. The manipulation was supposed to be easy to bear, but even while it was being done, I felt severe pain. Expected vomiting followed, a side effect of the chemo. I felt so bad that I was unable to call on Viber that evening and see my children. The next day it turned out that the blood results on my liver had worsened, but that was expected too. They decided to keep me under observation until Monday with more meds, including an antibiotic.

Today a man died on the ward floor. I could feel the pain of the grieving just by the screams and moans. It was as if fate was reminding me that even though I am sick, I should be grateful to be alive.

The treatment is going unexpectedly well and the professor claims I am in remission, but the costs are getting higher and the funds are dwindling fast. For that, please keep supporting us.
