The Gift of Life: How Clean Water Transformes life

In the small village of Sironko, nestled in the rollin hills of rural Uganda, life is a daily struggle. The community's only source of water is a muddy stream, contaminated with bacteria and parasites. Women and children walk for miles to fetch this dirty water, only to return home with heavy loads and empty hopes.

The lack of clean water had devastating consequences. Children often miss school due to water-borne illnesses, while adults would struggle to find work due to poor health. The community is trapped in a cycle of poverty, with no clear escape.

This is why the "Water is Life" campaign stepped in. Our team of experts works tirelessly to drill a borehole, providing the community with access to clean, safe water when fundingis done throughour beloved donors and funders. The impact is immediate.

Children will begin attending school regularly, their bright smiles and eager minds a testament to the power of clean water. Adults will find work, their health and eenergy will be already renewed

ARTICLE 2: AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives of the Association shall be to:-

 To unite all Elders in the Buyobo Sub County.

 To encourage a saving culture within Elders.

 Encourage members to initiate and adopt affordable and appropriate Income Generating Activities (IGAs).

 Enhance on funding base geared towards accomplishing NESA aspirations.

 To promote positive attitudes towards development amongst members.

 To offer affordable and relevant financial services to the members.

 To support members develop professionally through up grading to higher financial levels.

 To encourage members, promote good hygiene and sanitation.

 To sensitize members on the environmental conservation through tree planting.

 To improve on the rearing of livestock among households in Buyobo Sub County.

 To support atleast one Elder from other sub-counties towards Financial problem solving

 To encourage vulnerable members such as the orphans, widows and girl child live positively.

 Pursue lawful and gainful aspiration deemed desirable to the fulfilling of the above aims and objectives.

SERVICES OFFERED

The Association shall provide the following as services

 Identifying Elders in the community and assessing their challenges so as to be helped.

 Bringing the elders in the sub county together hence creating unity.

 Sustaining the livelihood of the vulnerable elders.

 Saving and credit scheme.

 Education and capacity building on economic and social welfare to the members majorly the youth from the elderly home steads.

 Educate members adapt financial discipline and resource management to foster economic development.
