Hello everyone!

My name is Gabriela, and I want to help these puppies.

As some of you know, I’m originally from Bulgaria but have been living in Berlin for the past 10 years.

One day, while visiting my grandparents in Lovech (a small town in Bulgaria), I heard faint cries coming from an abandoned yard near their house. When I went to check, I found a mother dog and her six puppies huddled together in the cold, trying to survive.

I felt helpless—I was flying back to Berlin the next day and couldn’t do much at the time. A few days later, all the puppies had disappeared except for one. Determined to help, I reached out to various Facebook groups, and thanks to the kindness of many people, we found a foster home and an adopter in Berlin.

I thought the story had a happy ending—until yesterday. A local teacher informed me that her students had found two puppies thrown into a water drainage at the edge of the city. It turns out that someone had taken them and cruelly abandoned them there. The rest of the litter remains missing, but at least these two were found in time and are still alive.

Unfortunately, all rescue organizations are full, but I want to make sure these two puppies get a second chance.

I am urgently looking for a foster home (ideally in Sofia) and loving adopters. But first, we need food and medical care to get them healthy and ready for adoption.

I would be incredibly grateful for any support—whether it’s sharing this post, asking around, or donating even 1-2€ towards their vaccines and food.

💰 Here are the minimum costs needed:

• Vaccines (3 rounds per puppy): 30 lv x 2 = 180 lv (~90€)
• Microchips & passports for both: 60 lv (~30€)
• Food, diapers, and basic supplies
