Help Alan get the legal help he needs

I was born in 1974 in Grozny, Chechnya. I participated in the 1991 revolution and later in the First and Second Chechen Wars, as well as the South Ossetia–Georgia conflict in 2008.

Since 2014, Russian intelligence services pressured me to join the war in Donbas as a “volunteer” on the side of the DPR, offering payment. I refused. Many friends were forced under threats or fabricated charges.

In 2017, fearing for my life, I fled to Israel, where I currently live without legal status. Returning to Russia would mean arrest, torture, or forced participation in the war. My beloved partner was arrested in October 2024 and remains in detention.

I have a lawyer in Russia, Maxim Tretyakov, who can obtain all documents from my closed trial, necessary for filing an appeal. Time is critical, which is why I am seeking help from €3,000 to cover legal fees, to appeal this unfair sentence, and to get a chance at a new life.
