Здравейте, скъпи приятели и дарители,
Отдавна не сме публикували новини, затова сега ще разкажа на кратко приключенията ни до тук.
Преди да започнем с химио-имуно терапията направихме контролно ЯМР и скенер, а резултатите от тях са, че всички разсейки от костите и черния дроб са изчистени, а основният рецидив на слепоочието е смален на 50%.
Преминахме и през първият курс на химио-имуно терапия. Започна доста тежко, с болки и задържане на течности, но благодарение на непрестанните грижи на професор Фунда и екипа й, това отмина бързо. За жалост по време на терапията София започна да вдига температура и се оказа, че има инфекция в порта (https://www.medikara.bg/port-a-cath), което наложи премахването му. Поради тези спънки съкратиха малко курса, но по думите на лекарите, това не е проблем.
Сега София е в кратка почивка, след която отново оперативно ще се постави нов порт и на 14 май ще продъжим с втори курс химио-имуно терапия.

It's been a while since we've posted news, so I'll now briefly recount our adventures so far.
Before we started the chemo-immune therapy, we had a follow-up MRI and scan, and the results are that all the bone and liver scatters have cleared, and the main recurrence of the temple has been reduced to 50%.
We also went through the first course of chemo-immune therapy. It started off quite severe, with pain and fluid retention, but thanks to the continued care of Professor Funda and her team, this passed quickly. Unfortunately, during the therapy Sophia started to run a temperature and it turned out that there was an infection in the port(https://www.medikara.bg/port-a-cath), which necessitated its removal. Due to these setbacks they shortened the course a bit, but according to the doctors, it was not a problem.
Sophia is now on a short break, after which a new port will be surgically placed again and we will resume with a second course of chemo-immune therapy on May 14.
We thank from the bottom of our hearts all the friends and donors who are by our side and supporting us. I believe that together we will succeed!
