Днеска започнах втори курс химиотерапия. Комбинацията от медикаменти е много силна и ефективна в убиването на ракови клетки от този тип заболяване, и имам и имунотерапия, която помага на тялото да открива раковите клетки, което още повече дава шанс за дълга ремисия, а колкото по-дълга ремисия, толкова по-малък шанс да се върне ракът.
Но за сметка на ефективните лекарства се чувстваш зле. Засега нямам значителни странични ефекти, освен леко раздразнен стомах, леко гадене и по-слабо сърце, но ще се погрижа тялото да се възстанови колкото може по-бързо. Показателите падат много, но това е нормално. В моя случай се покачват по-бързо от очакваното — така казаха лекарите, и това е супер.
Дано да бъде така и този курс.
Прибрах се за малко вкъщи, да се видя със семейството ми, тренирах, разхождах се и се храних стабилно. Гледам да правя всичко възможно да съм здрав физически и психически.

Today I started a second course of chemotherapy. The combination of meds is very strong and effective in killing cancer cells from this type of disease, and I also got immunotherapy, which helps the body detect cancer cells, which further gives a chance of a long remission, and the longer the remission, the less chance of the cancer coming back.
But the expense of effective drugs feels bad. So far I have no significant side effects, other than a slightly upset stomach, mild nausea and a weaker heart, but I will make sure my body recovers as quickly as possible. Meters are dropping a lot, but that's normal. In my case they are rising faster than expected - so the doctors said, and that's super.
Let's hope that this course will be the same.
I went home for a bit to see my family, exercised, walked and ate steadily. I'm doing my best to stay healthy physically and mentally.
