Здравейте, хора с големи сърца!
Както знаете Марти от м.10. се бори с поредица тежки инфекции и сме хоспитализирани.
Болницата се оказва в момента нашия дом.
След около 3 месеца лечение на инфекциите, последната, която лекуваха беше гъбична инфекция.
Вече излязоха няколко култури чисти, които с нетърпение очаквахме да излязат и че гъбички не се наблюдават.
Вчера 03.01.2024 г. на нашето момче герой, след преливане на тромбоцити се направи оперативна интервенция и поставиха Порт отново, за да може да бъде правено венозното лечение, вече от там. Сестрите в отделението се радваха, че няма да се мъчи не само той, но и те, защото ръцете му изглеждат ужасно и вече почти не можеше да се ползват вените.
За поставянето на Порта имаме оферта, която е 2 500 евро.
Предният ден, проф. Фунда реши да се направят образни изследвания ЯМР на цялото тяло и СТ на белите дробове, може би като междинна контрола. Каза иска да се огледа и главата и евентуално да види причината, поради която от известно време Марти постоянно спи.
Все пак лекува няколко неща наведнъж и с много лекарства.
Като излезе разчета на направените образни изследвания, ще ви уведомя.
Не сме заплащали още сметките в болницата от 26.12.2023 г., както и тези изледвания, които са направени и предстоят.
За сега не може да се прави химиотерапия.
Лечението на Хемофагоцитозата, все още продължава.
Вчера, след консултация с детски ревматолог се включи и имунотерапия, която ще е веднъж на седмица, но тя не е за онкологичното заболяване, а за лечение на другото състояние, като не ми е дадена оферта отделно за нея.
Всекидневно почти се преливат тромбоцити, често и албумин, защото са ниски.
Малко е притеснително, че Феритина доста е завишен, като продължава и да се качва.
Утре ще бъде направено изследване на костния мозък с биопсия, аспираторно и лумбална пункция.
За изследването на костния мозък ни се даде оферта от 1 200 евро, но не зная включва ли всичките тези три изследвания, защото по-късно се реши за тях.
Всичко това в момента е отново извънредно плащане, което излиза по време на самото лечение.

Hello people with big hearts!
As you know Marty has been battling a series of severe infections since October and we have been hospitalized.
The hospital happens to be our home at the moment.
After about 3 months of treating the infections, the last one they treated was a yeast infection.
Several cultures have now come out clean, which we were looking forward to and that fungus was not seen.
Yesterday 03.01.2024 our boy hero, after a platelet transfusion had surgery and they put Port back in so that the venous treatment can be done, now from there. The nurses on the ward were glad that not only would he not have to struggle, but they would too because his arms looked terrible and he could hardly use his veins anymore.
For the insertion of the Porta we have a quote which is 2,500 euros.
The day before, prof. Funda decided to do MRI imaging of the whole body and CT of the lungs, perhaps as an interim control. He said he wanted to look at the head too and possibly see the reason why Marty has been sleeping constantly for some time.
Still treating several things at once and with lots of meds.
When the report comes out on the imaging studies done, I will let you know.
We haven't paid the hospital bills yet as of 12/26/2023 and those tests that have been done and are coming.
No chemotherapy can be done for now.
The treatment for Hemophagocytosis, is still ongoing.
Immunotherapy was included yesterday after consultation with a paediatric rheumatologist, which will be once a week, but it is not for the cancer, it is for the treatment of the other condition, and I have not been given a quote for it separately.
Platelets are transfused almost daily, often albumin as well because they are low.
It is a bit worrying that the ferritin is quite elevated, and continues to climb.
Tomorrow a bone marrow biopsy, aspirate and lumbar puncture will be done.
We were given a quote of 1200 euros for the bone marrow study, but I don't know if it includes all three of these studies because they are decided later.
All this is now again an extraordinary payment that comes out during the treatment itself.
