Marco is back from Turkey and I am happy to tell you that his gastrohepathological and neurological condition has improved. This is a great step forward for us, a light in the darkness we are passing through. But, the fight is not over here...
My son now has to regularly take injectables and other medications, perhaps the apnea he has is in a high shirt and the bar is set high. It is a delicate process and must be carefully monitored, perhaps every day, every time it is re-evaluated.At the end of the therapies, we have to visit Turkey again for controls and tests. This is the only chance for Marco to keep fighting and have a chance at a normal life.
