In s. Vidin region there is a very, very old fountain, where all of us, our grandfathers and grandmothers and our children used to go, we used to skate to the fountain in winter, we used to pour water, we used to walk past it, we used to sit for stories there, the grandmothers used to wash their rugs there and the cattle used to stop for watering.

This is the fountain in the locality of "Sand", built in 1930 by the inhabitants of the village. Zheglitsa, and it is called "God's Will" spring. Some people know it as "GOD'S WATER". Soon a sample was taken from the fountain / on 11.10.2023 / and it turns out that the water from the leftmost spout is still drinkable. As we know it " The Good Pishura ". We have submitted documents to register it as a monument of culture. The fountain is said to be the longest in the surrounding area. It has three /3/ spouts and twelve /12/ troughs, three of them for watering the animals and the rest for washing. The last renovation of the well was done in 2007. On 02.08.2024 we invited Borislav Dragie and Hristo Mitev from Lovech - people who restore old fountains. They cleaned the spouts, together with me we cleaned all the troughs of the fountain. Many fountains have passed through their hands, but they said they have never seen such a big fountain! Water is still flowing from all three spouts, for which we have to thank nature, because many fountains and ponds have dried up.

We want to restore the look of the fountain, to have picnics there, to have dinners there, as in the old days, for our children to play. To clean up in front of the fountain and around it we need equipment, because it is impossible to make such a big place look decent by hand. We long for the moment when we will be able to see our fountain with benches and solar !
