Hope Comes True: Vasi Is in Remission

There are stories that shake us to the core. Stories that take our breath away and remind us how fragile life is—especially when it’s about a baby who hasn't even said his first words yet. Vasi is only one and a half years old. A smiling, gentle soul who until recently knew nothing but his parents’ warm embrace, the sunlight, and a world full of love. Until illness changed everything.

One day—bruises and strange swellings. And then… the heavy diagnosis: acute myeloid leukemia. Instead of toys—IV lines. Instead of smiles—pain. Chemotherapy begins—harsh, exhausting, and unfair for such a tiny body. And yet, Vasi fights. Simply because life is within him—and he wants to live it.

His family did not give up and found a chance—in specialized treatment, which includes a bone marrow transplant.
Thanks to 4404 donors and the hearts that didn’t remain indifferent, the impressive amount of 186,484.94 EUR was raised. Every euro, every share made this miracle possible.
With deep gratitude, we share the news we all waited for—Vasi is in remission. A bone marrow transplant is ahead. This is a new chance. This is a new life. This is a victory—yours, his, ours.
