Charity campaign in support of Mitko

Mitko needs expensive treatment abroad.

Dear donors, Mitko is a 4-year-old radiant child from Yambol and he is fighting two serious cancer diseases. He needs expensive treatment abroad. The amount of over $250,000 (not including additional and unforeseen expenses) is unaffordable for his family.

Mitko has acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Recently, doctors diagnosed him with another serious diagnosis - Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

The family started chemotherapy immediately. The course is very severe. After the first course of bone marrow control, he was found to be in remission. So far, the child has had two courses of chemotherapy and has one more to go.

For now Mitko is being treated in a hospital in Plovdiv. The therapy should continue in Israel with a bone marrow transplant. However, the funds for the intervention are unaffordable for his family.

80 thousand dollars is for the preliminary examination and 173 thousand dollars is for the transplant itself, not including, if necessary, additional medicines and other expenses. The amount will almost certainly increase.

Because of the very specific combination of the two leukemias, the doctors recommend a transplant in Israel. Mostly because it will be the most successful for him.

Mitko's mother and father want to give him a normal childhood. Unfortunately, they don't have the means to pay for the costly treatment and that's why they are turning to you - the Donors with big hearts. 🙏🏻💜
