Hello dear donors. This is Mitko , he is nine years old . Unfortunately at four months , he understands how treacherous and cruel life is . From a handful he knows what it is to fight with all your strength for your life .

At the age of four months , Mitko suffered a cranio-brain injury , resulting in bilateral hematoma and remained in intensive care for fourteen days placed in a forced coma . After which , forty days in neurosurgery , there he then underwent four operations on the head , and one immobilization of the entire right side , then we were discharged and two weeks later we were there again in the period from 04.04.2014 to 01.09.2014 there I had seven drains and one opening of the skull which was suspected to have hydrocephalus , in the operation itself was hooked the main optic nerve of the right eye , which completely atrophied . There was no hydrocephalus !

He had undergone two eye operations in an attempt to save himself in Belgium but without any success . Since 01.09.14 we have not stopped with the rehabilitation in Bulgaria. At the age of five he developed epilepsy , he was having ten seizures a day , the scariest sight of all so far . Nearly three years we stopped with any kind of rehabilitation as it was counterproductive to epilepsy . When we got it completely under control we went to see Dr. Furlakis who found that Mitko's hip had been taken out when he was one , two . We did the surgery on 08.06.2022 in Turkey. The operation lasted 7 hours , Mitko lost a lot of blood . He was two months in a cast , we removed the cast , then the bone in the knee broke . I do not know what the pain is , but Mitko in front of what passed a tear has not shed a tear of pain , he is our biggest and strongest fighter . But the knee pain lasted until 15.12.22 .

Now that it is gone , we have an offer for further rehabilitation there ! Unfortunately our time is very limited and the amount quite high for us , we need you . I think this horror we are in will end soon . Mitko has a great desire to walk , he repeats it himself , he is a very smart child . And I believe in him , because of him I learned to be strong ! He is my ray of light , he is very stubborn and fighting ! I believe that happiness is coming in our life too ! As long as he can take two steps on his own , be able to take care of himself..
