Hello, dear people with big hearts!

My name is Vesela, 35 years old from Burgas, mother of two wonderful children Marty (6 years) and Niki (1 year and 7 months). I never imagined that I would write these lines, but it happened to me. My family's life took a 360 degree turn when I heard the dreaded diagnosis of stage three breast cancer with resections in the lymph nodes in May. At a time like that, you want someone to tweak you, wake you up from the nightmare, and let you live your wonderful life again. Due to the prolonged breastfeeding of my second child and my milk-filled breasts, I hadn't noticed the huge lump in my breast anymore. I thought the doctors were wrong and that the lump in my breast was just clogged milk ducts from breast milk. But alas.....

The doctors' words were that the tumor was extremely aggressive and developing at a very fast rate, especially in a young person like me. After a biopsy was done in Sofia, my breast started to swell and become inflamed. It felt like , the lump in my breast grew for days while we waited for the histology result.

My breast was aching and after the pain of breathing appeared , my husband and I went to Turkey where the very next day I was examined by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Yıldız (oncologist) and Dr. Jihan Uras (surgeon). They both agreed that the tumor had spread throughout the breast and chemotherapy and immunotherapy should be started urgently. The next day I had 5 scans and the day after that my first dose of chemotherapy was infused.

I have 7 more infusions of chemotherapy + immunotherapy + surgery. Unfortunately the amount of 56 700€ needed to finish the treatment is becoming unaffordable for my family and I need you!

I BELIEVE that with YOUR help I will finish the treatment successfully and my children will have a HEALTHY MOMMY again who will love them and be by their side!
