Hello, my name is Milenka and I am 49 years old from the village of Vracesh, mother of a 6 year old son who has been wanted and waited for for many years.

Unfortunately after six months of going from doctor to doctor and having an MRI where they saw nothing everyone said it was a urinary infection,endometriosis and all sorts of other diagnoses.

My happiness was marred by the dreaded diagnosis of ovarian cancer. No one is prepared for such a thing.The shock and horror was indescribable.

Immediately an extremely difficult operation was undertaken with a lot of blood loss and many internal organs affected.A very difficult recovery period followed and it was the turn of the next step.Chemo therapy to hopefully end things.

Yes, but only for 6 months, I had to have another chemotherapy which was also short lived.I went to Turkey,had all sorts of tests done and was offered a regimen of drugs that are not available in Bulgaria.

I agreed,I did 8 infusions of chemo and 5 cyber knives hoping all was going well,but the effect was minimal.There was progress,the doctors prescribed drugs that are available in Bulgaria under the AC,but I was refused and had to manage on my own.

One drug (target therapy) is for 28 days and costs 6000lv,and one infusion of immunotherapy for 21 days is about 7000lv. So far we have managed financially with the help of relatives,friends,charity causes and local campaigns , but unfortunately we can no longer.

So dear people I am appealing to you for help.Help to all you good people.I know,that at Christmas miracles happen,and I hope my miracle will happen too,to get well and to be able to be a full mother for my child.

I want to dream again and enjoy life in its full glory.I know you are a strength and God will hear my prayers.
