Yoanna was born prematurely, weighing only 1950 grams, and from a young age showed signs that worried her parents. Over the years, she underwent various pains, tests, and procedures. After a long search for a diagnosis, it finally became clear - Yoanna suffers from Turner syndrome.

This diagnosis affects multiple organs and systems in her body - the kidneys, heart, eyes, thyroid gland, and hip joints. Unfortunately, there is no children's hospital in Bulgaria that offers comprehensive treatment and monitoring of her condition. To receive the necessary help, Yoanna has to visit various specialists - a nephrologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, orthopedist, and ophthalmologist. Her parents decided to seek treatment in Turkey, where a successful kidney operation was performed two years ago. Every month, the family travels for new tests, medications, and doctor's consultations. In addition to all these check-ups, Yoanna has to take growth hormone daily and undergo surgery on a birthmark that is growing rapidly. There is a serious risk that this benign tumor could transform into a malignant one.
