Здравейте, скъпи дарители. Татко приключи с 4 курса химиотерапия и 1 курс лъчетерапия. Химиотерапията беше много тежка и агресивна - всяка беше по 3 дни с вливки между 13 часа и 15 часа в денонощието. Външните изгаряния след лъчетерапията също бяха сериозни, а заздравяването на кожата отне около 2 месеца. След всичко това обаче туморът е намалил размера си с 40%. Предполагат ни 2 варианта за операция. Първият е ампутация отново. Вторият е операция за отстраняване на тумора, която включва подмяна на кост и сериозна намеса на пластичен хирург, защото колкото и да е намалил размера си, туморът е доста голям. Предвид на това доста голяма част от бедрото трябва да бъде отстранена. Операцията е тежка и скъпа (60 000 евро). Проучваме и вариант за операция в България. Благодаря от сърце на всеки за помощта. Битката ни не е приключила все още, но вярвам че татко ще се пребори.Hello, dear donors. Dad finished 4 courses of chemotherapy and 1 course of radiotherapy. The chemotherapy was very hard and aggressive - each was 3 days with infusions between 13 hours and 15 hours a day. The external burns after radiotherapy were also severe and the skin took about 2 months to heal. However, after all this the tumour has reduced in size by 40%. We were given 2 options for surgery. The first is amputation again. The second is surgery to remove the tumor, which involves bone replacement and major intervention by a plastic surgeon because as much as it has reduced in size, the tumor is quite large. Given this, quite a large part of the thigh has to be removed. The operation is difficult and expensive (60 000 euros). We are also exploring the option of surgery in Bulgaria.
