Do you know how to save 100 cats? Just neuter 1!!!

Hello dear people! We are a group of volunteers from the city of Vidin, who for years have been neutering cats with personal funds on the territory of the city, as well as in the villages, and the number of cats we have neutered has long been three digits. No free neutering is offered in Vidin. The reason I am seeking financial help is that we all have many animals rescued from the streets that we care for and given inflation, it is now completely IMPOSSIBLE to spend the money on neutering.

Unfortunately, huge colonies of cats have formed in almost every neighborhood in Vidin, with the babies often dying agonizing deaths due to disease or a host of other causes. In addition, the animals are often poisoned or shot. CASTRATION is the only humane way to control this unwanted population! In the last two months alone, we were able to spay/neuter 18 cats and 1 dog. By trapping and neutering all the female cats in one of Vidin's neighborhoods that had been breeding uncontrollably for years, we have put an end to this vicious cycle. It is a well-known fact that only 2 unneutered cats can reproduce up to 54,000 in 10 years.
