На 25 октомври беше часа на Андрей при професора, който го оперира в клиниката в Турция. По време на прегледа доктора ни потвърди резултата от биопсията от България. Туморът е Дифузен Астроцитом 3 стадий. Беше ни показана снимка от ЯМР преди операцията и след нея. Разликата беше огромна! Именно затова се молехме Успешно е бил премахнат 70% от тумора, като ни обясниха, че са могли да премахнат и целия, но това е щяло да засегне и парализира лявата част от тялото на Андрей. Лекарите ни дадоха огромни надежди, че този вид тумор се поддава на лечение по-лесно от други видове. Следващия преглед беше при онколог. За първият етап от лечението той назначи 30 лъчетерапии съчетани с химиотерапия - прием на таблетки за 40дни. Според онколога, двете терапии трябва да се приемат заедно, за да има по-голям ефект. Разходите за първия месец на лечение към момента са: - 4500 $ за 30 лъчетерапии (х 150 долара за всяка) - 1300 $ Химиотерапия на таблети за 40 дни - 200 $ за два прегледа - 300 $ ежеседмично за кръвни изследвания - в Истанбул наехме апартамент за 1 месец, защото този път престоят му няма да бъде в болницата, ще бъде там само за провеждане на лъчетерапията. За всички тези разходи прилагам касови бележки за закупени лекарства, платени медицински прегледи и кръвни изследвания. За лъчетерапията имаме проформа фактура, по която заплатихме 10 броя, а останалите трябва да платим до понеделник, когато започва и първата лъчетерапия на Андрей. Тези разходи успяваме да заплатим с Вашата помощ ! Благодарим ви мили хора , че ни помагате в толкова труден момент. Всичко това което правите , не е напразно. Силно вярвам, че моят брат скоро ще оздравее! On October 25 was Andrew's appointment with the professor who operated on him at the clinic in Turkey. During the examination the doctor confirmed the biopsy result from Bulgaria. The tumor was Diffuse Astrocytoma stage 3. We were shown an MRI before and after the surgery. The difference was huge! This is exactly why we prayed 70% of the tumour had been successfully removed, they explained that they could have removed the whole tumour but it would have affected and paralysed the left side of Andrew's body. The doctors gave us high hopes that this type of tumour was easier to treat than other types. The next appointment was with an oncologist. For the first stage of treatment he prescribed 30 radiotherapy treatments combined with chemotherapy - taking tablets for 40days. According to the oncologist, the two therapies should be taken together to have a greater effect. The costs for the first month of treatment so far are: - $4500 for 30 radiotherapies (x $150 each) - $1300 Chemotherapy tablets for 40 days - $200 for two check-ups - $300 weekly for blood tests - we rented an apartment in Istanbul for 1 month because this time his stay will not be in the hospital, he will only be there for the radiotherapy. For all these costs I attach receipts for medicines purchased, medical check-ups paid and blood tests. We have a proforma invoice for the radiotherapy, which we paid 10 items, and we have to pay the rest by Monday, when Andrew's first radiotherapy starts.
