Здравейте мили хора,
Продължаваме да ви държим в течение относно това как протича лечението на Габи в гр. Дортмунд:
На 16.04.2023г. Габи бе изписана от болницата след 3ти курс следоперативна химиотерапия. Последваха изследвания и физиотерапия по график.
На 26.04.2023г. Габи постъпи в болницата с висока температура и ниски кръвни показатели. Отново се оказа наличие на инфекция. По време на болничния престой тя претърпя едно кръвопреливания и едно преливане на тромбоцити. След като инфекцията бе овладяна и кръвните показатели стабилизирани, на 02.05.2023г. Габи бе изписана.
В домашни условия продължи възстановяването като главни акценти бяха възвръщане към пълноценното хранене и движение. Всяка инфекция при Габи е придружена с повръщане и тя бързо губи килограми. Наред с храненето се таргетираше и укрепването на мускулите чрез различни упражнения, изпълнявани у дома или в кабинета на рехабилитатора. Споделяме снимки на усилията и напредъка на Габи по време на сесиите в центъра за физиотерапия и рехабилитация.
Неизменна част от проследяващия процес са и редовните кръвни изследвания като наред с тях се проследява и показателя за наличие на инфекция. Поради отново ниските кръвни показатели се наложи още едно кръвопреливане и едно преливане на тромбоцити. Това е и причината лекарите все още да не стартират 4-тия курс следоперативна химиотерапия, който по план трябваше да е през първата седмица на Май. Очакваме скоро и той да започне, защото Габи брои дните до края на целия курс назначени химиотерапии, след който се надяваме на най-добрите новини!

We continue to keep you updated on how Gabby's treatment is going in the town of Gubi. Dortmund:
On 16.04.2023 Gabby was discharged from the hospital after the 3rd course of postoperative chemotherapy. This was followed by tests and physiotherapy as scheduled.
On 26.04.2023 Gabi was admitted to the hospital with fever and low blood values. Again it turned out to be the presence of infection. During her hospital stay she underwent one blood transfusion and one platelet transfusion. Once the infection was controlled and blood counts stabilized, Gabby was discharged on 02/05/2023.
Recovery continued at home with the main highlights being a return to full nutrition and exercise. Any infection in Gabby was accompanied by vomiting and she lost weight rapidly. Along with nutrition, muscle strengthening was targeted through various exercises performed at home or in the rehabilitation therapist's office. We share photos of Gabby's efforts and progress during the sessions at the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center.
Regular blood tests are an integral part of the follow-up process, along with monitoring the infection indicator. Due to again low blood counts, another blood transfusion and one platelet transfusion were required. This is also the reason why the doctors have not yet started the 4th course of post-operative chemotherapy, which was scheduled to take place in the first week of May. We expect it to start soon too, because Gabby is counting the days until the end of the entire course of chemotherapy appointments, after which we hope for the best news!
