We are releasing an update to give you more information about Mitko's current condition and the need to renew the campaign.

Mitko continues to battle a bacterial infection that is damaging his skin, lung and spleen, despite the costly medications he takes without fail. Due to the overwhelming number of medications he is taking he has had to have a probe inserted to feed him. He practically cannot be discharged from the hospital without clearing the infection because it will beat him.

The funds that remain in the platform that have not been spent are about 180,000 leva, but we have yet to claim them. The doctors say it will take AT LEAST 2-3 more months of stay here in Israel in the clinic, and then a follow up scan to follow up on the microbacterium and aspergillosis of the lung. Our hopes are to have good news then. We can't get a quote because it's all month to month here, but the increased amount is tailored for a stay of another 3 months or so, as long as nothing unforeseen comes up.
