My name is Vera, George's wife and companion, who needs your help today. Georgi is from the town of Kardzhali. He is an ordinary, working man - a husband, a father of two children and a grandfather. We lived an ordinary life, accompanied by the normal household problems familiar to every Bulgarian family.

On 04.02.2022 Georgi heard the terrible diagnosis - Cancer. On 24.02.2022 he underwent surgery to remove his kidney (nephrectomy) due to a 9 cm tumor. After a 5D scan was done the same year on 26.08. it was found to be spread in both lungs and in the liver. Later a scatter was also found in the nasal cavity. She started her treatment in Bulgaria, with scans every 2 months.

At the last scan on 16.08.2023 it was found that the treatment was not working and the scatters were growing, it was also found that the treatment was complicated by diabetes. He is an insulin diabetic. He retired due to illness and stayed at home as his condition did not allow him to work.

We started looking for any other treatments that would give some result. Unfortunately, his hemoglobin also started dropping and we were forced to do blood transfusions every two or three months because with low hemoglobin, therapy could not be continued.

After a long search we found a ray of hope in Turkey. There they offer a treatment that can help, giving a 50% success rate, but the amount of 60,000 thousand leva is unaffordable for the family. The offer from the hospital amounts to 54,000 leva and the remaining amount will be used for additional examinations and medication not included in the original offer.

I am therefore appealing to you for help.
