Казвам се Жана Тодорова и се обръщам към вас с молба за помощ и подкрепа за дъщеря ми Стефани. Аз съм самотен родител и за мен е невъзможно да подкрепя нуждите на дъщеря ми.
Стефани се роди в седмия месец с тегло от 1300гр. , а няколко месеца след това беше диагностицирана с диагнозата детска церебрална парализа – ДЦП. От 10 месечна възраст тя прави интензивна рехабилитация състояща се от 10 рехабилитации седмично, 2 водни рехабилитации и работа с ерготерапевт и логопед. В следствие на тази упорита работа днес тя успява да пълзи, да стои изправена за кратко и да прави по няколко крачки сама без упора. Стефани е едно много добро, борбено и умно дете. Тя е изключително активна, а желанието и да бъде като другите деца я мотивира да работи и прави рехабилитация с усмивка.
До този момент Стефани успя да опровергае и надхвърли всички очаквания на лекарите за целият ѝ живот. Тя е едно много умно дете, осъзнаващо физическите си ограничения и с огромно желание да ги преодолее. Борбеността ѝ е и моята най-голяма мотивация да търся помощ с която да я подкрепя и да и дам шанс да постигне така мечтаните резултати.
На този етап Стефани е постигнала почти максимума на възможностите си без медицинска намеса и вече е ясно, че единствения път напред е чрез освобождаване на спастичността с помощта на процедура наречена фибротомия. Тази процедура се прави наи-успешно в Сърбия, където ходят и почти всички деца с нейната диагноза. Лекарят, който я извършва не живее там и графика му е изключително запълнен. Успяхме да се впишем за манипулацията за посещението му в началото на декември и се налага да съберем необходимата сума изключително бързо.
В момента аз нямам възможност да покрия разходите за тази процедура, която е на стойност 3800 евро и не се покрива от здравната каса. Без тази манипулация Стефани няма почти никакви шансове да проходи самостоятелно.
Обръщам се към вас със свито сърце и молба да подкрепите дъщеря ми Стефани. Тя се бори изключително много, без тази процедура напредъка, който може да получи е толкова ограничен, че почти ще обезсмисли нейните усилия, мотивацията за борба и ще отнеме надеждите ѝ за равностоен живот.

My name is Zhanna Todorova and I am asking for your help and support for my daughter Stephanie. I am a single parent and it is impossible for me to support my daughter's needs.
Stephanie was born in the seventh month weighing 1300g. , and a few months after that she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy - cerebral palsy. Since she was 10 months old she has been doing intensive rehabilitation consisting of 10 rehabs a week, 2 aquatic rehabs and working with an occupational therapist and speech therapist. As a result of this hard work she is now able to crawl, stand upright for short periods and take a few steps on her own without resistance. Stephanie is a very good, fighting and smart child. She is very active and her desire to be like other children motivates her to work and do rehabilitation with a smile.
So far, Stephanie has managed to defy and exceed all the doctors' expectations for her entire life. She is a very smart child, aware of her physical limitations and with a great desire to overcome them. Her struggle is my biggest motivation to seek help to support her and give her a chance to achieve her dream results.
At this stage, Stephanie has reached almost the maximum of her capabilities without medical intervention and it is now clear that the only way forward is through spasticity release using a procedure called fibrotomy. This procedure is done most successfully in Serbia, where almost all children with her diagnosis also go. The doctor who performs it does not live there and his schedule is extremely full. We managed to get in for the manipulation for his visit in early December and had to raise the necessary amount extremely quickly.
I am currently unable to cover the cost of this procedure, which is €3800 and is not covered by the health insurance. Without this manipulation Stephanie has almost no chance of walking independently.
I turn to you with a broken heart and a request to support my daughter Stephanie. She is struggling tremendously, without this procedure the progress she may receive is so limited it will almost negate her efforts, her motivation to fight and take away her hopes for an equal life.
