За пореден път ракът връхлетя с нова сила. От около 1 седмица София започна да повръща. След второ обезводняване разбрахме и истинската причина. Макар да имаше скоро правени ЯМР, скенер и mibg образни изследвания, които не показваха друго освен разсейката в синуса, непредвидимият невробластом образува нови разсейки в главата на София. Заради тях се наруши ходенето и започна повръщането. Шокът е неописуем, а вариантите за лечение са последните. Започваме с лъчетерапия на всички активни точки, след това ще направим радиоктивната MiBG терапия и ще я вкарат за трансплантация на стволови клетки.
Буцата в гърлото е голяма, болката в сърцето чудовищна. Не искам и няма да се предам, докато тя е тук и ми се усмихва, докато чувам най-сладко изреченото "мами" и усещам топлината на прегръдките й.

Once again cancer has struck with renewed force. Since about 1 week Sofia started vomiting. After a second dehydration we found out the real cause. Although she had recent MRI, scanner and mibg imaging done which showed nothing but the sinus distraction, the unpredictable neuroblastoma formed new distractions in Sophia's head. Because of these, ambulation became impaired and vomiting began. The shock was indescribable, and the treatment options were the last. We are starting with radiotherapy to all the active points, then we will do the MiBG radiotherapy and get her in for a stem cell transplant.
The lump in her throat is large, the pain in her heart is monstrous. I don't want to and I won't give up as long as she's here smiling at me, as I hear the sweetest "mommy" spoken and feel the warmth of her arms.
