Скъпи, приятели и дарители,
Отново се включваме с информация относно състоянието и лечението на София.
Резултатите от последната биопсия оправдаха напълно опасенията за нова разсейка. Какво се случва със София??? Старите разсейки са повлияни и неактивни, но тя продължава да образува нови на всевъзможни места. Тъй като за целият период на лечение, който се равнява на целият й живот, тя е преминала през повечето възможности и варианти за третиране на нейният вид рак, докторите взеха решение, че трябва да се предприемат по-агресивни методи и да не спираме да се молим за чудо.
Следват химиотерапия, лъчетерапия, образни изследвания, изследвания на костен мозък, MIBG терапия, трансплантация на стволови клетки.
Сумите са непосилни за нас, но неугасващата вяра, че нашето чудо ще се случи продължава да ни води напред.

Dear friends and donors,
Once again we join in with information about Sofia's condition and treatment.
The results of the last biopsy have fully justified the fears of a new scatter. What is happening to Sophia??? The old dissections are impacted and inactive, but she continues to form new ones in all sorts of places. Since she has been through most of the treatment options and possibilities for her type of cancer over the course of what amounts to a lifetime of treatment, the doctors decided that more aggressive methods should be pursued and to keep praying for a miracle.
Chemotherapy, radiation, imaging, bone marrow studies, MIBG therapy, and stem cell transplant followed.
The sums are overwhelming for us, but the undying faith that our miracle will happen continues to carry us forward.
