Hello!

My name is Stanislav Hristov, 37 years old, from Sofia, and I have been diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer in the third stage. By profession I am a serviceman.

It all started six months ago when I got a strange pain in my abdomen. I started visiting hospitals in Sofia, going through multiple procedures, biopsies, checkups and scanners. Despite everything, for a long time they could not establish an accurate diagnosis. After a while it was found that the problem was in my pancreas, but by then the disease had already developed seriously.

While I was being given different diagnoses in the hospitals, the disease progressed. At MMA they were finally able to pinpoint the exact diagnosis, but I had already lost a lot of valuable time. During that time, I underwent four biopsies and a failed surgery. The delay and lack of adequate treatment worsened my condition - I was in severe pain and losing weight every day.

Due to these delays, my family and I decided to seek treatment in Turkey, at the renowned Medicana Hospital in Istanbul. I will continue my procedures and overall treatment there.

I find myself in a very difficult situation and I wish to get back my normal way of life - to be among my friends, family, relatives and colleagues again. I believe that I still have a chance, but I need to act quickly as every day counts.
