Георги е едно прекрасно малко момченце, което има нужда от Вашата помощ, за да има пълноценно детство и нормален живот!
Гого, както ние наричаме нашето слънчице е дългоочаквано дете, което се роди през 2019 г. и ни направи безкрайно щастливи. Но щастието ни беше много кратко!
Още в първите часове от живота си Гого получи гърч, последван от още няколко клонични гърча, съпроводени със сънни апнеи – състояние, при което спираше да диша.
Това наложи да бъде в кувьоз в продължение на 20 дни, в които се хранеше със сонда, дишаше с кислороден апарат и беше силно хипотоничен. Трудностите не свършиха до тук. След няколкомесечно лечение с Фенобарбитал и кратко затишие пристъпите отново зачестиха, достигайки до 60-70 броя на ден. Последваха нови хоспитализации и включване на нови препарати за лечение на гърчовете, които приема и до днес. Така Гого се сдоби с диагнозата Епилепсия. Паралелно с това хипотонията се засили и умственото и двигателното развитие на Гого изостана.
Бяха направени множество изследвания, включително и генетични такива в САЩ и Германия, но до момента нямаме поставена точна диагноза, която да обяснява състоянието му. Освен множеството кръвни изследвания му бе направен и ЯМР на главата и бе поставена диагнозата ДЦП.
За да може Гого да навакса изоставането и да догони връстниците си ежедневно посещаваме рехабилитация, логопедична терапия, психолог, хранителна терапия, сензорна терапия, ерготерапия. Във времето, през което сме вкъщи продължаваме ежедневната работа с частен рехабилитатор.
В търсене на помощ за нашето дете се озовахме в Турция, където периодично посещаваме различни специалисти, които да следят състоянието му – детски невролог, очен лекар, ортопед, педиатър и т.н.
Специалистите там са на мнение, че Георги ще проходи, но се нуждае от интензивна рехабилитация и усилено стимулиране на умственото развитие.
Понастоящем Гого има направени 2 операции на тазобедрените стави в Истанбул, тъй като в следствие на хипотонията се получи луксация на ставите – двустранно, т.е. ставите започнаха да излизат от ябълките. Силно се надявахме, че с физиотерапия ще стопираме процеса и ще избегнем операцията, но за съжаление това не се случи.
След като луксацията беше потвърдена от трима водещи специалисти в тази област в България и в Истанбул и ни беше обяснено, че няма друг вариант за лечение на проблема, освен по оперативен път, предприехме тази трудна стъпка. Първата операция беше изключително тежка и Гого беше 50 дни в гипс от кръста надолу, обездвижен на легло. Но…нашето момче е боец и геройски издържа всички неразположения. Слава богу всичко мина успешно. Година и половина след първата операция, направихме и втората, при която бяха отстранени пироните, поставени в ставите на Гого.
Всичко това вече е зад гърба ни, но сега е много важно да продължим с активната и усилена рехабилитация, за да може ефекта от операциите да бъде максимален и Гого да проходи колкото може по – бързо. Добрата новина е че Гого вече успява да се задържи прав дълго време и прави крачки самостоятелно. За да затвърдим този успех и да проходи съвсем сам, не трябва да спираме с посещенията в рехабилитационните центрове у нас и в чужбина!
Ще бъдат необходими и още множество контролни прегледи при специалисти, за да може да се следи неговото състояние. За съжаление всички тези терапии и процедури са изключително скъпи и непосилни за нас!
За съжаление нещата са динамични и средствата, които са необходими за лечението непрекъснато се променят!

Georgi is a wonderful little boy who needs your help to have a full childhood and a normal life!
Gogo, as we call our sunshine is a long-awaited child who was born in 2019 and made us infinitely happy. But our happiness was very short lived!
Within the first few hours of life, Gogo had a seizure, followed by several more clonic seizures accompanied by sleep apneas, a condition where he would stop breathing.
This necessitated being in a cuboid for 20 days, during which he was fed by a tube, breathed with an oxygen machine and was severely hypotonic. The difficulties did not end there. After several months of treatment with Phenobarbital and a brief lull, the seizures became more frequent again, reaching 60-70 a day. Further hospitalizations followed and the inclusion of new medications to treat the seizures, which he still takes today. This is how Gogo got the diagnosis of Epilepsy. In parallel, the hypotension intensified and Gogo's mental and motor development lagged behind.
Numerous tests were done, including genetic ones in the US and Germany, but to date we have not been given an accurate diagnosis to explain his condition. In addition to the multiple blood tests, an MRI of his head was done and he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
In order for Gogo to catch up and catch up with his peers, we have daily visits to rehabilitation, speech therapy, psychologist, nutritional therapy, sensory therapy, and occupational therapy. In the time we are home we continue daily work with a private rehabilitation therapist.
In search of help for our child we ended up in Turkey where we periodically visit different specialists to monitor his condition - pediatric neurologist, eye doctor, orthopedist, pediatrician, etc.
The specialists there are of the opinion that Georgi will pass, but he needs intensive rehabilitation and intensive stimulation of mental development.
Currently Gogo has had 2 hip surgeries in Istanbul, as a result of the hypotension the joints became luxated - bilaterally, i.e. the joints started to come out of the balls. We were very hopeful that physiotherapy would stop the process and avoid surgery, but unfortunately this did not happen.
After the luxation was confirmed by three leading specialists in this field in Bulgaria and in Istanbul, and it was explained to us that there was no other option to treat the problem except surgery, we took this difficult step. The first operation was extremely difficult and Gogo was in a cast from the waist down for 50 days, immobilised in bed. But...our boy is a fighter and heroically endured all the discomforts. Thank God everything went well. A year and a half after the first surgery, we had the second surgery, which removed the nails that had been placed in Gogo's joints.
All this is behind us, but now it is very important to continue with the active and intensive rehabilitation so that the effect of the surgeries can be maximized and Gogo can walk as quickly as possible. The good news is that Gogo is now able to stay upright for a long time and is taking steps independently. In order to consolidate this success and make him walk completely on his own, we must not stop with the visits to the rehabilitation centres at home and abroad!
Many more check-ups with specialists will be needed to monitor his condition. Unfortunately all these therapies and procedures are extremely expensive and unaffordable for us!
