Пише Ви една от хилядите майки на дете с онкологично заболяване. Когато научих за фондация "Павел Андреев" си помислих, че за дъщеря ми тя е лъч надежда и реших да пиша.
Нашата история започна, когато малката Нелис нямаше навършени две години. Тогава беше диагностицирана с високорисков Невробластом, IV стадий. От тогава започна и неравностойната борба за живот на дъщеря ми. Зад гърба си вече има няколко операции, множество химиотерапии, няколко лъчетерапии, трансплантация на костен мозък, имунотерапия, MIBG терапия и други, които биха могли да се приложат за лечение на невробластом.
Всичко това се направи благодарение на средства, събрани от благотворителна кампания. Тя беше чудесен пример за солидарност и доказателство, че съществуват много добри хора по света.
Сега, обаче Нелис отново има нужда от подкрепа, защото лечението продължава. Преди три месеца тя преживя още една операция. След мозъчен кръвоизлив се установи, че има метастаза в главата на Нелис. Беше извършена успешна мозъчна операция. Последваха 22 курса тежки лъчетерапии. След обсъждане на консилиум се взе решение лечението да продължи с Имунотерапия. Необходимо е да бъдат закупени 16 фалкона с лекарство, чиято стойност е 100 хил. евро, а за самото прилагане в продължение на 6 месеца, са необходими още 50 хил. евро. За съжаление средствата, които имаше в сметката на Нелис не са достатъчни. С тях успяхме да платим и поръчаме половината от лекарството, за да започне терапията и се надяваме, че през това време ще се съберат средства и за останалите.
Искрено се надявам, че Вашата фондация ще подкрепи и Нелис в нейна борба, както е подкрепила и много други деца в нужда. С цялата си същност и сърце се боря да променя хода на нещата, които ни се случват.

One of the thousands of mothers of a child with cancer is writing to you. When I learned about the Pavel Andreev Foundation, I thought it was a ray of hope for my daughter and decided to write.
Our story started when little Nelis was not yet two years old. She was then diagnosed with high risk Neuroblastoma, stage IV. That's when my daughter's unequal fight for life began. She now has several surgeries behind her back , multiple chemotherapies, several radiation treatments, a bone marrow transplant, immunotherapy, MIBG therapy and more that could be applied to treat Neuroblastoma.
All of this was made possible by funds raised from a fundraiser. It was a great example of solidarity and proof that there are many good people in the world.
Now, however, Nelis needs support again because the treatment continues. Three months ago she had another operation. After a brain haemorrhage, it was discovered that there was a metastasis in Nelis' head. A successful brain surgery was performed. This was followed by 22 courses of heavy radiotherapy. After discussion at a consilium it was decided to continue treatment with Immunotherapy. It is necessary to purchase 16 phalcones of medicine, the cost of which is 100 thousand euros, and for the administration itself for 6 months, another 50 thousand euros are needed. Unfortunately, the funds that were in Nelis' account were not enough. With them we were able to pay and order half of the medicine to start the therapy and we hope that in the meantime funds will be raised for the rest.
I sincerely hope that your foundation will support Nelis in her fight as it has supported many other children in need. I am fighting with all my being and heart to change the course of things that happen to us.
