Казвам се Емил Коцев и съм на 41 години.
През далечната 2006 година, когато бях едва на 22 – млад човек, чийто живот тепърва започваше – съдбата ми се преобърна за миг. Една необмислена грешка доведе до токов удар и тежки изгаряния. Лекарите спасиха живота ми, но не успяха да спасят ръцете ми. Наложи се да бъдат ампутирани малко над китките.
Оттогава минаха вече 19 години. Живея с родителите си, които винаги са до мен и ме подкрепят, но те нямат възможност да ми осигурят съвременни протези. До днес съм с обикновени козметични, с които не мога да върша нищо сам. Мечтая за деня, в който ще мога самостоятелно да се справям с ежедневните си нужди – да държа чаша вода, да закопчая дреха, да живея малко по-независим живот.
Сърдечно се обръщам към вас – добри хора – подайте ми ръка! Вярвам, че с вашата подкрепа ще мога да сбъдна тази мечта и да получа протези, които ще ми върнат малко повече самостоятелност и достойнство.

Hello, good people!
My name is Emil Kotsev and I am 41 years old.
Back in 2006, when I was only 22 - a young man whose life was just beginning - my fate was turned upside down in an instant. An unthinking mistake led to an electric shock and severe burns. The doctors saved my life, but they couldn't save my hands. They had to be amputated just above the wrists.
It has been 19 years since then. I live with my parents, who are always by my side and supportive, but they are unable to provide me with modern prostheses. To this day I am wearing ordinary cosmetic ones, which I cannot do anything with on my own. I dream of the day when I will be able to manage my daily needs independently - hold a glass of water, button a garment, live a little more independent life.
My heartfelt appeal to you - good people - give me a hand! I believe that with your support I will be able to make this dream come true and get prostheses that will give me back a little more independence and dignity.
