History of a burnt down tower in Kumanovo In one of the oldest settlements of the town of Kumanovo there is an old tower, which is not known exactly when it was built, but it is believed to have stood for more than a decade. It is a family house built in a traditional style, typical of the region, which has long been a corridor for living.

In the house live a mother and a son, Pravda and Zoran, who are on social assistance and live in difficultconditions. With the passage of time, the house was not significantly renovated and the electrical installation remained old and faulty. On 22.04.2025, a fire broke out in the building, caused by a damaged electrical installation. The fire spread rapidly and caused extensive material damage, especially to the roof and the interior of the tower.

The fire service intervened in time and located the fire, stopping it from spreading to neighbouring properties. On the average, no persons were injured, but the heap is now in a heavy state. Pravda and Zoran are left without a roof over their heads and are facing an unknown future, hoping for support from the institutions and good wishes for the renovation of their home.
