През изминалата седмица повреме на престоя ни в Университетска болница "Коч", проф. Бурак Кочак и неговият екип взеха решение да поставят нефростома в левия бъбрек Тео с диагностична цел, а именно да се потвърдят или отхвърлят техните съмнения за стеснение на уретера. След проследяване, нивата на креатин в кръвта за съжаление не спаднаха, а нефростомата беше отстранена. Към този момент кръвните показатели на Тео са стационарни, не е необходимо започването на диализно лечение и се препоръчва ежеседмично проследяване от нефролог. Надяваме се времето да бъде в наша полза и да помогне на Тео да отложи трансплантацията максимално дълго време.

Last week during our stay at the University Hospital "Koch", prof. Burak Koçak and his team decided to place a nephrostomy in Theo's left kidney for diagnostic purposes, namely to confirm or reject their suspicions of ureteral stricture. After follow-up, his blood creatine levels unfortunately did not drop, and the nephrostomy was removed. At this time, Theo's blood counts are stable, dialysis treatment does not need to be initiated, and weekly follow-up by a nephrologist is recommended. Hopefully time will be in our favor and help Theo delay transplant as long as possible.
