Черквата в село Ситово "Св.Петка" се нуждае от ремонт на покрива, тъй като тече и нова електроинсталация.
Покрива не е ремонтиран от 1849 година.
Конструкцията на черквата е каменна зидария от брациговската Каменоделска гилдия, покрива също е каменен с глинена набивка отгоре и подредени тикли/каменни плочи/.
Черквата е функционираща и сградата е в добро състояние, от долната страна каменния покрив е измазан с хоросан и изписан със стенописи от времето на построяването на църквата.
В момента състоянието на стенописите не е трагично, но ще стане от течовете, ако не се отстранят. Покрива е двускатен, няма барабан по средата, така че ремонта няма да е усложнен. Електрическата инсталация е от времената когато са електрифицирали селата в Родопите и призива ми е за дарения за да съберем достатъчно да се оправи покрива, ел. инсталацията, изографисването и т.н.
Уредено 3 от оригиналните икони от царския ред да бъдат реставрирани и консервирани. От оригиналните икони липсват само 3 икони от архангелския ред, откраднали са ги преди 15 години. Всички други икони са оригиналните от средата на 19век. Тези от царския ред изглеждат много запазени и ярки, обаче дъските са нападнати от червояд, самия иконостас е здрав
The initiative for which we ask your help is the following:
The church in the village of Sitovo "St. Petka" is in need of roof repairs, as new electrical wiring is underway.
The roof has not been repaired since 1849.
The construction of the church is stone masonry from the Stonemasons' Guild of Bratsigovo, the roof is also stone with clay filling on top and stacked teak/ stone slabs/.
The church is functional and the building is in good condition, the stone roof is plastered with mortar on the underside and painted with frescoes from the time the church was built.
Currently the condition of the frescoes is not tragic but will become so from leaks if not removed. The roof is gabled, there is no drum in the middle, so repairs will not be complicated. The electrical wiring is from the days when they electrified the villages in the Rhodope Mountains and my appeal is for donations to raise enough to fix the roof, electrical wiring, painting, etc.
Arranged for 3 of the original icons from the royal order to be restored and conserved. Of the original icons only 3 icons from the Archangel order are missing, they were stolen 15 years ago. All the other icons are the original ones from the middle of the 19th century. The ones from the royal row look very well preserved and bright, however the boards are infested by a worm, the iconostasis itself is sound
