UPDATE 1 — More than 450 children supported

During the 2025-2026 Financial Year, Buyesi Youth Initiative turned community support into practical opprtunnities for children and rural households inn Puti-Puti, Pallisa District. Through the "Help a Farmer Raise a Child campaign", more than 450 children received support, icluding scholastic materials, clothing and school fees. Through "Every Goat, Every Child's Future", children from neighbouring households received goats.

The report also records that 60% of goat-distributions beneficiares were girls. This is more than a short-term assistance. Eduucation helps children remain engaged in learning, while goat become a productive household asset that develop responsibility, practical skills and the potential for a growing herd.
