Dear friends,

My name is Marian Dimitrov. Over the years, I have faced many difficult challenges, and people have come to see me as a strong man. I have pulled trucks, heavy machinery, and locomotives, and I have always believed that with enough willpower, a person can move almost anything.

Today, however, I am facing the hardest battle of my life, and this time my strength alone is not enough.

My wife, Viki, is only 30 years old and is fighting cervical cancer. She is the mother of our two wonderful children. Our older child is 9 years old, and our little girl was born less than a year ago.

This should have been the time for us to enjoy life as a happy young family, celebrating first steps, first words, and all those small moments that stay forever in a parent’s heart. Instead, every day I watch the woman I love gather the strength to keep fighting for her life.

It all began during her last pregnancy. In August 2025, Viki went through a difficult delivery and an emergency C-section. Afterward, however, the pain and severe bleeding did not stop. Months of examinations, anxiety, and searching for answers followed, while her condition gradually worsened.

Eventually, we heard the diagnosis that everyone fears: cervical cancer.

From that moment, our lives changed completely. Viki underwent a major oncological surgery, followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Despite the pain and exhaustion, she continued to find the strength to smile in front of our children and keep fighting for them.

In April 2026, she had to undergo a second, even more serious operation. Her treatment continues to this day under constant medical supervision. The latest examinations, however, have once again filled us with fear, as the doctors have serious concerns about possible metastases in the liver.

As a husband, there is nothing more painful than watching the person beside you suffer and knowing that you cannot simply take their pain upon yourself. All my life, I believed that if you were strong enough, you could overcome anything. Today, I understand that there are burdens no one can carry alone.

That is why I am turning to you.

The treatment options available to us here are becoming limited, and our hope is for Viki to continue her treatment in Turkey. There, she is expected to undergo a new comprehensive medical evaluation, after which the specialists will prepare an individual treatment plan for the next examinations, surgeries, and therapies they consider necessary.

To begin this vital stage, an initial amount of 200,000 is required. For our family, this amount is beyond our means, but I cannot give up. I cannot look at our children knowing that I did not do everything possible to give their mother the chance to remain by their side.

Viki wants nothing more than the chance to continue her treatment, to be there for our children, and to watch them grow up.
