After completing 47 sessions of radiotherapy and another 4th course of chemotherapy, which ended on 27.05, Kali's blood counts have dropped to almost 0. She had to be admitted to the hospital as an emergency and was kept on constant oxygen for 12 days. In addition to intravenous anitbiotics, dissolved drugs were given by syringe by mouth. In the same way she was taking water and food.. During this time she was infused with blood and platelets forty days. The low readings continued and this necessitated the postponement of another 5th course of chemotherapy until 09.07. They had to use 2 doses of an expensive 11500euro drug to get the values up and continue the therapy.

Due to the debilitating condition, some of the drugs were replaced with other, milder ones because the treatment could not be delayed any longer. So with insufficiently elevated readings, Kali went through the 5th course of chemotherapy, which ended on 11.07, but now she only gets around with a wheelchair. She is again struggling with the low readings..
