PLEASE HELP - Let's give Georgi a chance to live!

Friends, good people, strangers with big hearts - we turn to you with tears in our eyes and hope in our souls.

Georgi is 46 years old. Father of two wonderful children - 18 and 20 years old. A husband, a son, a friend, a man with a huge heart who has always helped others without a second thought.

Unfortunately, today George is fighting the toughest battle of all - that of his life.

Three years ago, during a routine checkup, we heard the dreaded diagnosis: cancer of the tonsils and lymph nodes. He was admitted to ISUL Hospital for surgery, followed by radiation and chemotherapy. We went through an extremely difficult period, but we coped. We got our life back. Everything was going well... until December 2024.

That's when we noticed something on the language. The biopsy and tests confirmed a second stroke - squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue. The ICU did another successful surgery. We hoped that this time everything was behind us. We were happy to have the cancer removed again.

But a follow-up scan revealed a new growth - this time on the esophagus. A biopsy at the ICU confirmed a malignant carcinoma about 5 cm in size. From there, we were immediately referred to Tokuda Hospital - for hope and a chance at life. The esophageal cancer turned out to be a complicated operation with many consequences.

This is the third time the cancer has returned - even more violent. At Tokuda, therapies aimed at shrinking the tumor were started immediately, but it turned out that the cancer spread quickly. In order for George to be able to breathe and eat, they placed stents in his trachea and esophagus. The tumor was relentless and destroyed every part of the body. But the doctors gave us hope - that there is a way!

Treatment has already begun and is urgent - every minute counts.

So far we have been coping on our own. We were paying for treatments, check-ups, hospital stays. But this battle has drained us financially. For the first time we are asking for help.

The amount we need to raise is 10,000 euros, but the costs grow every day. The exact amount is not yet clear, but we know one thing - without treatment there is no chance. Without treatment, we lose him.
