Познавам Божи и неговото семейство – познавам и борбата, която водят вече три години. Малкият герой се ражда с диагноза екстремна хидроцефалия – състояние, при което в мозъка се натрупва течност, причинявайки тежък натиск и бързо нарастване на главичката. Още от първите седмици живот, Божи поема по път, различен от този на повечето деца – но го изминава с невероятна сила и постоянство.
Вече 2 години семейството пътува до Турция, където детето преминава интензивна рехабилитация и терапия със стволови клетки. Благодарение на усилията на близките си и грижите на лекарите, Божи прави малки, но важни крачки напред – обръща се сам, задържа главичката си, започва да изговаря срички и думички като „мама“, „да“ и „не“. Това са огромни постижения за дете с подобна диагноза. И Божи ги постига с цената на 8 вливки със стволови клетки, постоянна физиотерапия и огромна обич и вяра.
Напоследък има и нова надежда – иновативна терапия за зрението, която вече дава резултат.
"От февруари месец посещаваме нова очна лекарка, която заедно с невролога назначиха терапия за очите с инжекции, която е иновативна. Посещаваме и очен терапевт. Има изключително подобрение в зрението, успява да фокусира по-бързо, реагира на определени цветове и лекарите са обнадеждени за дясното око", споделя майка му Димитрина.
Но битката не е свършила. Предстоят му още 4 вливки на стволови клетки и допълнителни терапии, които надхвърлят 100 000 лева. Семейството не спира да се бори, но има нужда от подкрепа. За това моля за удължаване на тази кампания с още 6 месеца, за да дадем възможност на повече хора да се включат и да помогнем Божи да продължи да катери своите върхове.
Той вече ни показа, че чудесата са възможни. Нека му помогнем да стигне още по-далеч.

I know Bozhi and his family - and I know the fight they have been waging for three years. Little Hero was born with a diagnosis of extreme hydrocephalus, a condition in which fluid builds up in the brain, causing severe pressure and rapid growth of the cerebellum. From the very first weeks of life, Bozhi takes a different path than most children - but he navigates it with incredible strength and perseverance.
For the past 2 years, the family has traveled to Turkey, where the child has undergone intensive rehabilitation and stem cell therapy. Thanks to the efforts of his relatives and the care of the doctors, Bozhi is making small but important steps forward - turning on his own, holding his little head, and beginning to say syllables and words like "mama", "yes" and "no". These are huge achievements for a child with such a diagnosis. And Bozhi achieved them at the cost of 8 stem cell infusions, constant physical therapy and tremendous love and faith.
Recently, there is new hope - an innovative vision therapy that is already making a difference.
"Since February, we have been seeing a new eye doctor who, together with the neurologist, prescribed an eye therapy with injections that is innovative. We are also seeing an eye therapist. There has been a tremendous improvement in his vision, he is able to focus faster, respond to certain colours and the doctors are hopeful about his right eye," says his mother Dimitrina.
But the battle is not over. He still has 4 more stem cell infusions and additional therapies ahead of him, costing more than 100,000 leva. The family has not stopped fighting, but needs support. That's why I'm asking for an extension of this campaign for another 6 months to give more people the opportunity to get involved and help Bozhi continue to climb his peaks.
He has already shown us that miracles are possible. Let's help him go even further.
