Hello people with big hearts, this is Mishi, my offspring with an undying smile. He was born prematurely in the seventh month, as a result of lack of oxygen, he had a brain hemorrhage. After a month of fighting for life, the little tyke came home. Everything was going great, developing normally, even faster than expected. At the age of eight months she had her first seizures. This condition lasted for days, seizures several times a day. He was diagnosed with Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy. The effects of the seizures and the medications taken were huge,his overall development was delayed. And then the real battle began.

For nine years of his life, Mishi has not stopped fighting, twice fought death, undergone several interventions and surgeries, continuous rehabilitation and examinations both in Bulgaria and Turkey , but everything was worth it.This fighter was constantly developing and progressing, both physically and mentally. Doctors and specialists said that he had a huge potential and chances for improvement and progress.

But of course everything requires funds, which in the last two years are extremely insufficient, I barely cover the weekly rehabilitation and speech therapist in Bulgaria , and sometimes there is no for them. We have not been to Turkey for procedures and examinations for a year. This has of course had its detrimental effect, the lack of regular and proper rehabilitation has set Suncho back physically, severely.

Not long ago we had a consultation with the Turkish team of specialists monitoring Mishi during their visit to Bulgaria. The treating orthopaedic surgeon said that the spasticity had increased a lot, the Achilles had started to shorten, the knees had reached contracture and the right hip joint had changed its degree. He recommended active rehabilitation or the consequences would be great.
