Бояна се роди 1 килограм в края на шестия месец на 23.02.21 г. Прибра се за малко у дома на Великден, чукнахме се с яйца, преглътнахме няколко залъка козунак и потеглихме за следващата болница.
Тя - само три месеца живот, аз - само три дни с нея и вече влиза в следващата си битка за оцеляване. Едва я виждам, прекосявайки коридора на носилка и упоена. Задушава ме гъста мъгла на безсилие в дните, когато земята се пробужда, синигери багрят въздуха и отвъд белите болнични стени лъха на живот.
Първият й рожден ден идва с диагноза Церебрална парализа. За онези от вас, които не са запознати от първо лице с диагнозата: тя представлява увреждане на мускулно-скелетната система. Краката ми се подкосяват. Искам да ги отрежа и да й ги дам. Но тогава кой ще бяга след нея? Защото вярвам, че тя ще може да ходи един ден, както повечето деца. Може би, няма да стане олимпийски шампион по лека атлетика, но ще може да ми простира прането и ще готви превъзходно!
Досега преминахме през много неща заедно: тя, аз и всички замесени. Кръвоизлив в мозъка, кръвоизлив в белите дробове, тежка жълтеница, хирургична интервенция на краката и ръцете в Сърбия, лазерна операция на очите в Токуда, поради настъпила ретинопатия в трети стадий, преди отлепяне на ретината, десет курса с по десетдневна рехабилитация и многобройни боледувания, типични за всички деца с нисък имунитет и недоравити вътрешни органи.
Нужните средства ще платят три интензивни рехабилитационни курса, планирани да се случат през следващите 12 месеца. И двете съзнаваме, че на тази платформа има изключително много важни кампании, а ние се борим „само“ да прохождане. Boyana was born 1 kg at the end of the sixth month on 23.02.21. She came home for a little while on Easter, we knocked eggs, swallowed a few mouthfuls of cobbler and left for the next hospital.
She - only three months to live, me - only three days with her and already entering her next battle for survival. I can barely see her, crossing the hallway on a stretcher and drugged. A thick fog of frustration suffocates me on the days when the earth awakens, titmice fog the air and beyond the white hospital walls there is a breath of life.
Her first birthday comes with a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy. For those of you not familiar with the diagnosis firsthand: it represents damage to the musculoskeletal system. My legs are buckling. I want to cut them off and give them to her. But then who will run after her? Because I believe she will be able to walk one day, like most kids. Maybe, she won't become an Olympic track and field champion, but she will be able to do my laundry and cook superbly!
We've been through a lot together so far: her, me, and everyone involved. A brain haemorrhage, a lung haemorrhage, severe jaundice, foot and hand surgery in Serbia, laser eye surgery in Tokuda due to stage three retinopathy before retinal detachment, ten courses with ten days of rehabilitation and numerous illnesses typical of all children with low immunity and malnourished internal organs.
The funds needed will pay for three intensive rehabilitation courses scheduled to occur over the next 12 months.
