Благодарение на всички Вас, ние успяхме много бързо да организираме заминаването ни за Лондон във връзка с лечението на нашата дъщеря Йоана в една от най-големите детски болници не само в Европа, но в световен мащаб - "Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children" GOSH. Нашето решение се базираше на опита на лекарския екип от неврохирургичното отделение с подобни случаи и статистически данни за 70% успеваемост с консервативно лечение.
Бяхме изпълнени с надежда и вяра, но за наше голямо разочарование процедурата за репозиране на прешлените под пълна анестезия под рентеново наблюдение и поставянето на хало фиксатор беше неуспешна!
Според резултатът от скенера има наличие на костно срастване и се налагаше отново под пълна анестезия махане на хало фиксатора. По време на процедурите Йоана беше с високо кръвно, учестен пулс, повишена температура и болки в областта на врата. Беше много изплашена и стресирана от поставянето на хало фиксатора, но през следващата седмица започна бързо да се възстановява. За сега няма друга алтернатива за лечение освен високо рискова операция на прешлените С1 и С2, но според лекарите рискът е по-голям от ползата при сегашното положение.
Относно лечението и препоръките за нейното здравословно състояние прилагаме доклада на лекуващия неврохирург- консултант д-р Доминик Томпсън. Очакваме окончателната фактура за стойността на лечението на Йоана, която трябва да бъде издадена в срок от 15 работни дни от изготвянето на доклада.
Огромни благодарности на "'Фондация Павел Андреев'' за бързата реакция, споделянето на кампанията на Йоана в социалните мрежи и финансирането на лечението. Благодарим на всички дарители за оказаната подкрепа! За пореден път се сблъскахме с абсурдните ситуации в България. Ние като граждани си плащаме всички здравни осигуровки, данъци, такси и т.н. , но какви услуги получаваме от държавата ? Всъщност държава няма, здравеопазване - няма, детски специализирани болници с детски специалисти - няма, НЗОК - Фонд за лечение в чужбина - няма! Добре, че Ви има всички Вас!Бъдете здрави и благословени!
Hello! Thanks to all of you, we were able to very quickly arrange our departure to London in connection with the treatment of our daughter Joanna in one of the largest children's hospitals not only in Europe, but worldwide - "Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children" GOSH. Our decision was based on the experience of the medical team in the neurosurgery department with similar cases and statistics of a 70% success rate with conservative treatment.
We were full of hope and faith, but much to our disappointment the procedure of repositioning the vertebrae under full anaesthetic under Renten's supervision and placing a halo fixator was unsuccessful!
According to the scanner result, there was bone fusion and the halo fixator had to be removed again under full anaesthesia. At the time of the procedures Johanna had high blood pressure, rapid pulse, fever and neck pain. She was very scared and stressed about having the halo fixator placed, but over the next week she began to recover quickly. For now there is no alternative treatment other than high risk surgery on the C1 and C2 vertebrae, but the doctors say the risk is greater than the benefit with the current situation.
Regarding the treatment and recommendations for her condition, we attach the report of the treating consultant neurosurgeon, Dr Dominic Thompson. We are awaiting the final invoice for the cost of Joanna's treatment, which should be issued within 15 working days of the report.
A huge thank you to the Pavel Andreev Foundation for their quick response, sharing Joanna's campaign on social media and funding the treatment. Thank you to all donors for their support! Once again we were faced with absurd situations in Bulgaria. We as citizens pay all our health insurance, taxes, fees etc , but what services do we receive from the state ? Actually there is no state, no healthcare, no children's specialist hospitals with children's specialists, no NHIF - Fund for treatment abroad - none ! Good to have you all ! be healthy and blessed !
