Little Maria was born on November 20, 2023 – long-awaited and desired, after numerous attempts and IVF procedures. However, soon after her birth, worrying symptoms began, leading to a diagnosis of hydrocephalus, confirmed by MRI, as well as severe hypotonia. Although the little girl is developing – she has started walking and saying words – her condition is rapidly deteriorating. Recent tests show that half of her brain is filled with fluid, requiring urgent surgery to preserve brain function.
