My name is Galya Dimitrova. I've been in surgery for 1 month and in shock from the diagnosis of Moderately Differentiated Adenocarcinoma G2,fibrinous-gneous peritonitis.

On 28.11.2023 I was admitted to hospital with acute pain down low on my stomach I thought it was something to do with my ovaries and I was admitted to the genetics department. After multiple tests and ultrasounds I was told everything was fine but the terrible pain persisted.

At 3am on the night of 29.11.23 the pain intensified and I thought I was going to die. I was scared. I was told they would call an abdominal surgeon to consult me, about 4hours passed and no one came and the pain was unbearable.

I felt anger,because I was not getting answers. How come for 5 hours no surgeon can come to see me? The surgeon came at 9am on 29.11.23 those 6hours were the blackest in my life. I was discharged from the genecology and admitted to abdominal surgery with peritonitis. My surgery lasted 5hrs, then they took out my stoma and told me I had a colon tumour.

Stage four cancer with metastasis.

After consultation from oncologists the most adequate treatment for me will be in Turkey at Adjibadem City Clinic Istanbul. But the treatment is unaffordable for me and my family. I have a daughter of 10 years and two sons, two twin grandchildren of 7months and my other son is expecting a baby in March.
