Вече два месеца Галя Петрова Карагеоргиева от град Раковски напразно очаква българската здравна система да ѝ постави диагноза. През месец април получава оток в областта на шията. Лекарите ѝ изписват антибиотично лечение, което не дава резултат. Назначена е и е направена операция на 09.05.2023 г., с която е отстранен подутия лимфен възел. След изследване на отстранената тъкан се установява, че е метастаза от ниско диференциран плоскоклетъчен карцином.

Така започват редица изследвания, чакане на резултати, ходене от специалист на специалист, но за съжаление след повече от месец обикаляне нито едно болнично заведение у нас не поставя точна диагноза и не предприема лечение.

Състоянието на Галя се влошава и тя заминава по спешност за Турция. Там лекарите правят изследвания и за два дни поставят диагноза „Карцином на фаринкса“. Тъй като е загубено много време е необходимо веднага да се започне лечение. Засега докторите са предписали 33 лъчетерапии и 5 химиотерапии. До момента семейството на Галя е заплатило 9000 лв. на турската клиника за изследванията, но за съжаление не може да се справи само със сумата необходима за лечението. Неофициално офертата на клиниката е 50 000 лв. Също така ще бъдат необходими средства за транспорт, престой, храна и др.

Галя единадесет години чака своя син и когато преди 8 години Господ я дарява с него, тя се страхува да не го изостави, затова е готова да се бори и да победи коварната болест.

For two months Galya Petrova Karageorgieva from Rakovski has been waiting in vain for the Bulgarian health system to diagnose her. In April, she got a swelling in her neck. Doctors prescribed her antibiotic treatment, which did not work. An operation was scheduled and performed on 09.05.2023, which removed the swollen lymph node. After examination of the removed tissue, it was found to be a metastasis from a low grade differentiated squamous cell carcinoma.

Thus began a number of tests, waiting for results, going from specialist to specialist, but unfortunately after more than a month of going around, no hospital in our country made an accurate diagnosis and did not undertake treatment.

Galya's condition deteriorated and she left for Turkey as an emergency. The doctors there carried out tests and within two days diagnosed her with pharyngeal carcinoma. As a lot of time has been lost, it is necessary to start treatment immediately. So far the doctors have prescribed 33 radiotherapy treatments and 5 chemotherapy treatments. So far, Galya's family has paid 9,000 BGN to the Turkish clinic for the tests, but unfortunately they can't cope with just the amount needed for the treatment. Unofficially, the clinic's offer is BGN 50 000. Also funds will be needed for transport, stay, food, etc.

Galya has been waiting for her son for eleven years and when the Lord blessed her with him eight years ago, she was afraid of abandoning him, so she was ready to fight and beat the insidious disease.
