The band "Retro Boys Band" and the rock band "OXIDIZED" are the only community amateur formations in Balchik Municipality. For the two years they have existed, they have developed a dynamic repertoire of hits of world and Bulgarian music and even an original song. Last season they warmed up for stars at cult festivals in Kavarna and Kranevo, gave their first solo concert, and gained popularity! They play and sing for free for the audience!

The common cross section of the two formations of the People's Community Center "Svoboda-1897" in the village of Gurkovo, Balchishka municipality, is the Storky Misho, who received the title "Best Clavierist" at the National Rock Contest in Dobrich in 2024.

So far, Storky has been using his personal keyboard, as well as the other instrumentalists.

Unfortunately, his KORG PA600 is already depreciated and he abandoned it!

Our community centre is poor as a church mouse, but it is very hearty and has countless amateur formations of singing and dancing art. Our building is due for renovation but is open even on weekends for rehearsals!

We can't afford to buy a new keyboard because we will blow our meager budget, and then we won't be able to pay the electricity!

Why didn't Michaud buy one himself? Because he works half-time for half minimum wage. And even though he's out of work because of a freak childhood accident, he does work for a hundred. Hence the nickname.

We are launching this campaign because we are convinced that the connoisseurs of quality music and the people who know how important it is for the community centers in Bulgaria to survive - WILL HELP US! Yes, there are many sick children and adults who need medicine. Music is medicine too!
