Какво се случва с Еми? What's going on with Emmy?

I'm sitting down to write a few lines about what's going on with Emmy. We are still on chemotherapy, the last five scanner late summer was not satisfactory for Emmy to go on target pill treatment / chemo by mouth/. After five scanners her doctor changed her chemotherapy and prescribed a new more aggressive one. It burned Emmy's skin and she was in a lot of pain, but she still fought, went to university where she was a student and studied Surveying. This is her fourth year in a row on chemo and as time goes on, we are getting used to it and it is getting harder for her and our whole family. Illness has managed to steal away from being there for our other two children in good and difficult times for which we apologize very much. We are trying to catch up but the missed moments are a fact.

Today, another kid from the hospital became an asterisk. May she rest in peace. These moments are downright heartbreaking for us. In 4 years we have sent many asterisks to heaven. We have welcomed many new children who have become patients at the hospital and we see them daily. Fortunately we also sent children who are now healthy thanks to good doctors and fate. Because sometimes doctors in Plovdiv no matter how hard they try there are things that are inevitable. And we welcome and send with the hope that the next five scanner will give us REMISSION!
