The photo is me in the car after the Stefan Stefanov Foundation event. The event is called "All Together for Life" and is dedicated to road safety. This is yet another event (specifically the fourth) since the beginning of the year that I have attended that is organized by parents who have lost their children on the road. The thought of the strength of these parents energizes me to keep doing what I do. The thought of so many parents organising road safety events terrifies me. I'm smiling in the photo. But in this thread, the smile is usually a facade. I'm wearing a t-shirt from the event, it says "It's cool to be responsible". Yeah, it's cool. And not just cool... In a country where we have normalized misconduct and taken it for granted; in a country where we have completely forgotten what the concept of responsibility means; in a country where we forget what the value of human life is on a daily basis, where... I stop... I add two more things to the post. One may sound pre-election, but it's not😊. One: At every event I hear the words that road safety should become a government priority. Okay dear, it undoubtedly is, but when there hasn't been a state for years? Like we're constantly up for election? Well then... Well then let's go vote... So we finally have someone to make the decisions and set the priorities! Second: I have made a decision for myself - not to put up with the reality of the road and to work for the education of the young and the re-education of adults. For this purpose we created an educational game. I launched a fundraising campaign. These funds are entirely for printing costs, my labour is entirely voluntary. I want schools en masse to run our educational game. I want to publish 200 units of the game, not 150. For this purpose I need another 390BGN. I urge you to give up something - 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 - whatever you want and help this cause. I will keep you updated with the results😊.
