Скъпи, дарители, скъпи приятели,

Борбата на моето прекрасно момиче продължава и то с голям интензитет - ежедневни рехабилитации, ерготерапия и психолог-логопед. Резултатите от фибротомията са налице - спастичността е значително намаляла, стъпва на цяло ходило, използва ръцете си и вече може да вдига и малко по-тежки предмети от преди, пръстите не са така стегнати и захвата е вече възможен! Всичко това е възможно благодарение на вас! Благодарността ми не може да бъде изразена с думи 🙏❤️

Но както казах борбата продължава. Борим се за самостоятелност, борим се за самостоятелна походка, за да може да стъпва смело в училище през следващата година! Стефани дълго време беше с диагноза тромбоцитопения, което е доброкачествено заболяване на кръвта. Положението беше много тежко - три приема в ИСУЛ по спешност и близо 2 год. на медикаментозно поддържане на тромбоцитите! Тази диагноза значително ограничи възможността за пълно противодействие на страшната доагноза ДЦП. Една от стъпките, които беше силно препоръчана от специалистите, които следят Стефани беше терапия със стволови клетки, но тя беше отхвърлена заради тромбоцитопенията. Днес отново обсъждаме тази стъпка! Стефани поддържа нормално ниво на тромбоцити без външна намеса вече около година, а всички изследвания показват, че терапията със стволови клетки е най-ползотворна преди 7-мата година. Стефани е на 6 и половина, така че нямаме много време. Очакваме офертата за стволови клетки от клиника в Пловдив и се надяваме, че до няколко дни ще можем да я споделим с вас. В момента аз едвам успявам да заплатя разходите за рехабилитация и психолог-логопед, а таи за стволови клетки ще бъде напълно недостижима. The struggle of my beautiful girl continues and with great intensity - daily rehabilitation, occupational therapy and a psychologist- speech therapist. The results of the fibrotomy are there - the spasticity is significantly reduced, she steps on the whole foot, uses her hands and can now lift even slightly heavier objects than before, the fingers are not so tight and the grip is now possible! All this is possible thanks to you! My gratitude cannot be expressed in words 🙏❤️

But like I said the struggle continues. We fight for independence, we fight for independent gait so he can step bravely into school next year! Stephanie was diagnosed for a long time with thrombocytopenia, which is a benign blood disorder. The situation was very severe - three emergency admissions to the ICU and nearly 2 years of medicated platelet maintenance! This diagnosis greatly limited the ability to fully counter the dreaded doagnosis of cerebral palsy. One of the steps that was highly recommended by the specialists who follow Stephanie was stem cell therapy, but it was rejected because of the thrombocytopenia. Today we are discussing this step again! Stephanie has maintained a normal platelet level without outside intervention for about a year now, and all studies show that stem cell therapy is most beneficial before the 7th year. Stephanie is 6 1/2, so we don't have much time. We are awaiting the stem cell offer from a clinic in Plovdiv and hope to be able to share it with you in a few days. At the moment I am barely managing to pay for the rehab costs and the psychologist-logopedist, and the stem cell tariff will be completely out of reach.
