Ще споделя малко информация за Нелис и етапа на лечение. Първо искам да кажа, че от скоро време "почти" се завърнахме в България. Засега успяваме да ходим до Истанбул за прилагане на химиотерапия, след което се връщаме в Търново. Много е изморително и натоварващо да се пътува през две седмици, но докато кръвните показатели и състоянието на Нелис позволяват, ще действаме така.
Направихме първите обстойни контролни прегледи след приключване на Имунотерапията. За наша радост всички са добри, което означава, че към момента състоянието е стабилно и под контрол. Резултатите от образните изследвания не показват наличието на туморни образувания. При това положение лечението продължава с поддържаща терапия, която включва приемание на венозна химиотерапия през две седмици. Лечението включва още орална химиотерапия 21 дни в месеца и ред други лекарства, които прилагаме извън болницата. В най- добрия случай тази терапия ще продължи 24 месеца. Затова кампанията за набиране на средства ще остане отворена с надеждата, че ще продължавате да ни подкрепяте.
Нелис се чувства много добре вкъщи. Нейната детска душа изживява изобилие от емоции, вълнение и огромна радост от срещи с деца, различни от тези, които тя бе свикнала да вижда в болницата. Усмивката и радостта в очите на Нелис, е благодарение на нейната лична борба и всички Вас, които й повярварвахте и помогнахте. А за мен остава да съм благодарна за всичко, което ми се случва и да споделям усмивките с дъщеря си!

I'm going to share some information about Nelis and the treatment phase. First of all I would like to say that we have "almost" returned to Bulgaria. So far we are able to go to Istanbul for chemotherapy application, then we are going back to Tarnovo. It is very tiring and taxing to travel every two weeks, but as long as Nelis' blood counts and condition allow, we will proceed as follows.
We have done the first thorough check-ups after the Immunotherapy is complete. Fortunately for us, all are good, which means the condition is currently stable and under control. The imaging results show no tumour growths. In this situation the treatment continues with supportive therapy which includes taking intravenous chemotherapy every two weeks. Treatment also includes oral chemotherapy 21 days a month and a number of other medications that we administer outside of the hospital. In the best-case scenario, this therapy will last 24 months. So the fundraising campaign will remain open in the hope that you will continue to support us.
Nellis is feeling very well at home. Her childlike soul is experiencing an abundance of emotion, excitement and great joy at meeting children different from those she was used to seeing in hospital. The smile and joy in Nelis' eyes, is thanks to her personal struggle and all of you who believed in her and helped. And for me, I am left to be grateful for all that happens and share the smiles with my daughter!
